Task 1.<\/span> Opening a file in Annotation Pro and saving new annotations (.ANT).<\/p>\n

Please download the .zip folder<\/a>, unpack it to a folder on your hard disk,\u00a0open each of the files in Annotation Pro (File ->Open), and save the respective annotation files in the same folder as the wave files, using the same file names.<\/p>\n

Task 2.<\/span> Importing annotation files from external formats.<\/p>\n

Please use one of your annotation files created in Praat or Wavesurfer and import it to Annotation Pro and then save it as an .ANT file to the same location as the respective wave file.<\/p>\n

Task 3.<\/span> Workspace – file collection.<\/p>\n

Add the .ANT files created\u00a0in Task 1 and Task 2 to Workspace in Annotation Pro. Then save the workspace to your folder (it will be saved as an .ANTW file). Thanks to this you can easily use a collection of files in the programme without a need to open particular files separately. Workspace is also one of the important options useful when conducting perception tests in Annotation Pro.<\/p>\n

Task 4.<\/span> Perception test options.<\/p>\n

Please inspect the perception test settings in Tools->Options->Sessions\u00a0(see here<\/a>).\u00a0Start the perception test mode (see also here<\/a>)\u00a0and try out a perception test using the .ANT files from the preceding tasks. What kind of graphical feature representation might be useful for this type of stimuli? see e.g., here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
